Val and the team had actually decided to do away with the limited coin release on Wed. But got a lot of feedback on it and so they came up with a limited number you can buy. They took a vote on the number and 5 was the winner.
Two items. Effective today we will no longer be doing limited coin Wednesdays. We had hoped these items would become collectibles but because coins are abundant in the game this did not happen. I hope this doesn't upset too many players. Also, about Friday shops, instead of every other Friday, we'll shoot for at least one Friday shop a month. And I'll announce a few days ahead. We do plan on a Friday shop next week.
Val D'Souza February 3 · Santa Clara, CA UPDATE 2: Good news. We've come up with a new way to deploy LT Coin Wednesdays. Here's how it will work. Each Wednesday we'll put out an item that would otherwise go for low GC and instead will sell it for a higher coin value. The key will be that player has to be higher than a certain level (to be announced) and will be limited to a certain number per player (to be announced). This means we can put out nicer items for LT Coin Wednesdays while also giving them a chance to be sought after and collectible. We need some code development to get this done. We'll get started either next Wednesday or the Wednesday after that.
Val D'Souza created a poll. February 6 Need your help on the new LT Wednesdays setup! To qualify to buy the item, player must be over a certain level (probably level 40). Question is, how many items should should each player be limited to buying each Wednesday? Too many will make them too common.

Well, I'm thrilled it's not gone completely. I see where they're coming from. Even though I'm an admin here, I don't know everything and I have no idea where you find this news. I guess I'll just buy extra limited release items for my polling for loot. There have been so many changes I can't keep up!
I am a member of Pet City VIP and also an Admin in another group so I have to stay on top of thing as much as possible. I just went back and found the post by Val in VIP and copied and pasted them here.
