Introduction to Pet City
Pet City is (in my opinion) the best virtual pet game on facebook. You can create your own unique pet and care for it to earn coins and hearts to level up. With those coins you can build a home for your pet and buy furniture, clothes, toys etc... This game guide will give you all the information you need to become a Pet City guru and level up fast.
Getting Started
After you have created your pet and gone through the Pet City tutorial, here's what you'll need to know.
Toolbar's
The top toolbar is were you'll find your coin balance, green cash balance, and your heart balance/level. Green cash (gc) is what you purchase with real money, to buy premium items in the game. As you level up you can actually earn some. Click the button at the top that say's "add coins and green cash" to purchase them.
To the left, you'll find your pet care tools, games and your storybook. You'll need to level up to get more pet care tools which will earn you more rewards. You can play games with friends using game tickets and earn coins, and trophies.
Complete chapters in your story book to earn more coins, trophies, hearts, shopping sprees and more.
Click on the settings button in the top right hand corner to turn on/off the music and sound effects. And to adjust the graphics.
The bottom toolbar will take you to different shops, your storage chest, closet, collections, trophies, learning supplies, and a camera for taking snapshots of your pet and friends pets to share on your facebook album.
If you click on your storage chest you'll see all the items you've bought and can decorate from here. To the left you'll see a little gift box were you can gift any item from your storage to any neighbor you want. This is also used for trading in groups. Just drag any item over to the gift box to send it to someone. To the right you'll see the sell icon, just drag items here you want to sell. Above that is the button you can use to clear an entire room.
As you care for your pet and visit friends pets you'll earn collection items. Once you have collected all the items in a collection you can redeem them for coins, hearts or prizes. Some collections are only around for a limited time mainly the holiday collections, so you'll wanna earn those fast before there gone.
As you level up you can unlock more rooms. The first four rooms are free. After that rooms start at 2,000 coins and go as high as 20,000 coins. After 15 rooms you can buy more for green cash. Click the button under your house icon to name your rooms, and expand any room for 18 green cash. Click on the stairs to purchase a room in your basement for 20 green cash.
At the bottom you'll see your neighbor bar were you can visit your friend's pets.
Invite friends who don't play already, and earn 1,000 coins per friend.
Click on the chalk board to view your learning supplies. As you level up and collect enough supplies your pet can lean new things.
Your pet will get hungry so its always good to have food prepared for your pet. Click on the menu to choose a dish for your pet. The time listed for each dish is how long it will take for your pet to eat it. You'll have to level up in order to cook all the meals and get all the ingredients. Don't forget to collect your coins after every meal. And be sure to always send out free gifts to your friends so they'll send back to you, and you'll get all the supplies you need. The more neighbors you have the better.
Decorating Your Home & Styling Your Pet
When your ready to decorate your house choose a shop. The house depot is always a good place to start. There you can choose your wallpaper, floors, windows, etc...
After that you can head over to the furniture mart. There you will find almost everything you need for almost every room in your house.
Then head on over to Fashion World for some clothes. There are two departments boys and girls. Choose the clothes you like and head over to your closet to dress your pet.
Now just drag the clothes you want onto your pet. You'll notice there's many closets, this is to help keep you organized. You can put all your shoes in one closet and all your accessories in another. There are 20 closets available. You can also gift any item in your closet to any of your neighbors.
Daily Spin
You can play the daily spin everyday to win lots of coins. It will also ask you if you want to share a bonus with your friends, and make sure you always do. Collecting these bonuses from each other is a great way to make money and level up.

How to Earn Lots of Coins
* You can start by logging in every day to collect your new arrival bonus.
* Visit your pet often to care for it, play games, complete quests and chapters in your storybook,
* Get as many neighbors as you can. The more neighbors you have the more friends you can visit and the more coins you'll earn.
* When you log into pet city the first thing you see is your pet city news. This is were you can collect gifts from friends & most important the bonuses they share. If you have a lot of neighbors you can collect a lot of coins and XP. Most people log in to do this several times a day. You'll always wanna collect these bonuses right away before there gone. There only available to the first 10 people.
* A lot of times you will see these banners at the top of the screen when you log in. You'll wanna log in daily to collect these because they add up fast. You can even sometimes get green cash from them.
