I'm usually a bit strapped for GC. The reason why the big GC prize contest that I did went on for a month was so I could save up all that GC. Hair dye isn't nearly as costly as rooms. I think I'll try to work with it.

Thank you for your input. I don't use players to pick winners I pick the winner myself usually by using randomizer.

You made a very good point! I very carefully and fairly pick the winners for my contests. I don't have a randomizer thingie, which is why I'm going old skool with the raffle by telling my sister "Pick a card. Any card!"
The randomness one I did really was totally random, he he.

I'd like to have a contest for a room that is not based on any theme ever released. For example: Before the museum release came out, I had a Pet City Museum in my house. Some of my friends have very unusual rooms (can't post them here, because if you do this contest, someone might take their ideas.)

I have an Idea for a game/contest. We could create a GC item but only using Coin items. A member should be allowed to at least do 2 or 3 creations depending on the host. This will allow members to have a chance and use their creative side.

Here is an example:
Left are all coin items, Right is all GC.
