There are many contests that we have now. Here is a quick key to explain a few things:
*Weekly* - This is a weekly contest. Artist of the Week and Pet of the Week do not change. However, weekly contests done by staff members, change from week to week. All of the weekly contests by staff members include prizes for just entering most of the time, and badges for the winners.
*Scavenger Hunt* - This contest is time consuming for all, but is a LOT of fun, and will pop up randomly a few times a year. Everyone who answers correctly receives a prize and a badge.
*RANDOM CONTEST* - This contest will appear randomly, and disappear randomly. There won't be a start date or an end date. All staff members will hosts these contests, and the rules may very. The winner, chosen however the staff member decides to pick a winner, will receive our rarest badge and a prize. The staff is not eligible to enter this contest.
*RANDOM THREAD* - This contest is one where members take turns posting anything they want until a staff member randomly decides it's over. The prizes and rules will vary depending on the host, but the winner is guaranteed one of our rarest badges.
*Holiday Contests* - These coincide with a holiday, and usually last a month. There will be a start and end date, and detailed instructions on how to enter the contest, and what the prize will be. The winner(s) will receive a badge and the prize mentioned. These usually have the best prizes.
*Staff Contests* - Some are held weekly, and others are held when inspiration hits. The rules are different for every contest, as are the prizes, but each staff member has their own badge(s) for their contests. Keep an eye for these, because Staff Contests tend to have the second best prizes.
