RED VELVET MUG CAKE (no egg recipe) ]Ingredients:
5 tablespoons of plain flour 1 heaped tablespoon of cocoa powder 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar 4 1/2 tablespoons of buttermilk (you can use plain milk if you can't find buttermilk) 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of red food colouring
Frosting: 2 tablespoons of cream cheese 1/4 cup of powdered sugar 1/4 cup of white chocolate chips
Bake in the microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 mins on high
Anyone ever try this? I saw it on YouTube & thought it was interesting.

just in case anyone wanted to know ... you can easily make your regular milk into buttermilk , with vinegar or lemon juice ... 1. Place a Tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup. 2. Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line. 3. Let stand for five minute. Then, use as much as your recipe calls for

fall is almost here , so I will be doing more baking , and as soon as I get all my baking supplies in stock I will be making this too !!! I am hungry just thinking about it
