With that said, I gotta go to bed, so I won't post anything until tomorrow, but someone else is more than welcome to start us off.

Where to start, wow. This season has been amazing so far and we recently found out the Governor is back. That's not even the most exciting part as there are still some very sick people in the prison AND one of the leaders was just kicked out of the rank. Quite a bit to digest here.

Oh man! There's so much to talk about here. My heart almost stopped last week when I thought Glen was going to die, and even though he's not really in the clear yet, I think he's going to make it. I have no idea who's going next, but I hope its none of the main characters.
I don't think Carol will end up on the Governors side, she's a stronger person than that. I was thinking either Daryl will go out and find her once he finds out what happened or they'll cross paths later on when she joins a new group. I really want her back though, but I do agree with Ricks decision to let he go. Her heart was in the right place trying to save everyone, but her actions were to drastic and unnecessary.
As for the person who's feeding the rats, I think its either Lizzie, because she still see's the walkers as people, and as we saw in another episode she was even naming them. Last week she almost got herself killed because of it. But my first thought was the Governor, I thought maybe he was trying to slowly take down the prison, first by taking down the fence. Maybe he even had a hand in whatever virus is spreading around the prison. He may not have an army behind him anymore, but he's a clever man with nothing to loose. I just hope he finds his way, and can somehow become the man he once was. I can't wait to see how this is going to unfold.
Sorry for rambling, I get really pationate about The Walking Dead. lol

Anyone here watching the Talking Dead? (It's a show after the Walking Dead where members of TWD staff and guest stars talk about the show.) The host on the show made a really good point last week. At first the didn't agree with Rick's decision to boot Carol, but after thinking about it for a week, he changed his mind. Carol was starting to act like judge and jury without any regard to the group. She killed two people, then burned their bodies right by the prison. Everyone was saying "well it's normal to burn diseased bodies" - but don't you think she would have done that away from their living area and don't you think she would talk to the rest of the committee first? So her head wasn't on straight. The host even compared her to the Governor. I really hope that Glen doesn't die. It's one thing to kill off the "red shirt" guys we just met, but main characters that we are attached to... I guess we should get used to it, especially given all the people we've seen killed up until now. I see your point about it being Lizzie. She views the zombies evolving and changing to the natural changes we face when we go from child to adult. That would make sense. I was thinking that Carl was doing it because he's been trying so hard to prove himself as a "man" and by creating a need for extra defense, he would get to step up and kill zombies side by side with this papa - just like we saw last week! (That was a pretty kick butt scene with the two of them blasting zombies!) I was thinking the Governor, too. And I agree that he may have been the cause of the disease. Hrmmm - I'm very interested to see how this is going to work out! It's awesome to be able to talk about this show with you all! So please ramble, it's a lot of fun.

Necroing this thread because I need somebody to talk about episodes with! OMG, all the death lately- first Bob, then Beth, now Tyreese! I mean, I loved his death episode- very artsy- but I'm still not over Bob and Beth yet! And now I'm scared for everyone else because I don't want anyone else to die, but I know they will because it's The Walking Dead, and Aargh!

I haven't watched that episode yet, but I knew Beth was going to die, and that saddened me. I had no idea about Tyreese. I really thought he was going to get more episodes. His part was much bigger in the comic books. I don't think they'll kill off Rick, Glenn, Daryl, or Michonne. I think everyone else is fair game. Although, in the comics, Glenn died around number 100, and Maggie took off with Sophia, who was still alive, to some community. Daryl isn't in the books, but they're going to put him in them (if they haven't already, I'm behind on that too) and he was added to the cast because he was so popular. The show doesn't follow the comics exactly, but they use the plots. Who dies and who is added is usually different though. I'll watch it and get back to you on the episode.

Yeah, they don't go completely off the comics (which is one thing some comic fans complain about, but why would they wanna watch something where they always knew what would happen?). I'll admit I'm a bad fan who hasn't read the comics, but I've loved the show from day 1. Right now my favorite characters are Daryl and Carol and I just don't know what I would do if either of them died. (I know Carol died early on in the comics, but that was a different Carol, not the cool lady she's turned out to be in the show.) Right now on the show they're in a place called Alexandria that was supposed to be important in the comics but not much has happened there yet. I guess we'll see...
