We plan to do an experiment to help increase trading activity in the various FB groups devoted to Pet City trading. We will hold a random drawing on May 8, 9 and 10 where the prizes will be Trade Gift Certficates. Players must load the game on May 8, 9 and 10 to check to see if they have won a certificate. If they won there will be a box laying on the floor in their room. To enter the drawing just post a reply to this post. You can type "me" or "add me to drawing" etc. The prizes will be 10GC, 20GC and 50 GC certificates. The number of prizes awarded will depend on how many enter the drawing. We'll announce later how many certificates were awarded.
The deadline to enter the drawing is Monday May 5th at 9pm Pacific Time. Please enter one time only. You must be at level 30 or higher in Pet City in order to enter the drawing.
If you find such a certificate waiting for you in your room on the above mentioned three days, here's the rules to follow in order to use them.
1) The certs will be valid for 30 days.
2) You must use the certs towards buying an item in a group that is at least 2 months old.
3) The transaction must be initiated from either a either a buy or sell posting in a group.
4) The seller must be on at least one safe trader list in any of the groups where the particular group is at least two months old
5) Only one certificate can be applied per transaction.
6) Once the seller has received the trading gift certificate, it can be redeemed for GC by writing to Petcity Crew with the following info:
a) Name of buyer
b) Amount of the certificate
c) Name of the group the sale took place in
d) Date of of the transaction
e) What items were sold
f) Group name in which the seller is listed as a safe trader
Petcity Crew staff will verify the info and remove the cert and add GC to the seller's acct.

A certain item is advertised in a group for 25GC. Mary has 10GC certificate. She agrees to buy the item from the seller and sends 15 GC plus the 10GC certificate to the seller as payment. The seller then sends the item to Mary and writes to Petcity Crew to redeem the 10GC certificate.
